The official inauguration event of the sub-project "Construction of the artesian well" took place on February 18, 2020 in Mateuți village, Rezina rayon.

The sub-project "Construction of the artesian well" was funded by the German Development Bank "Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau" (KfW) under the "Social infrastructure and energy efficiency" Program,Phase II, in the context of German Financial Cooperation with the Republic of Moldova and implemented with the technical assistance of the PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund”.

The artesian well was drilled, the pumping station was built, the technological equipment was procured and installed, the electricity supply network and the water supply network were constructed and the sanitary protection zone of the well was arranged within the subproject..

Following the implementation of the sub-project, the village population benefited from access to high quality drinking water and better sanitary-hygienic conditions.

Local contribution: 223 100 MDL / 11 515 EUR
