Students and teachers from the Theoretical Lyceum "Alexandru cel Bun" in Rezina will benefit from improved study conditions, provided within the " Moldova Education Reform Project", funded by the World Bank, managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and implemented by the Public Institution „Moldova Social Investment Fund”.
In order to monitor the implementation schedule of the subproject, today, July 2, 2020, the team of the Public Institution "Moldova Social Investment Fund" paid a visit to the construction site of the Theoretical Lyceum "Alexandru cel Bun" in Rezina, where found that the contractor complies with the work schedule and works in a special routine in the context of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
On behalf of the beneficiary, during discussions on the quality and volume of works performed, attended by: the Mayor of Rezina, Mr. Tatarov Simion, the Director of the lyceum, Mrs. Rusu Alexandra, the Chief Project Architect of the design company ARCADA-LV SRL, Mr. Sergiu Cojocaru, and the Director of the construction company POLIMER GAZ COMPLET SRL, Mr. Boris Imparatel.
The cost of civil works is 11,272,291, 55 lei and includes:
- renovation of the heating system at sections A, B, C, D;
- renovation of the ventilation system at sections B, C, D;
- renovation of the internal water and sewerage networks at sections A, B, C, D;
- renovation of electrical networks and electrical equipment at section A;
- installation of the fire and guard alarm systems;
- construction of the boiler house;
- renovation of external water and sewerage networks, thermal and gasification networks;
- procurement and installation of technological equipment and renovation of the engineering networks of the boiler house;
- repair of bathroom units at sections D, C.

Contract period 27.02.2020 – 27.05.2021.
Currently, the PI MSIF monitors the development of renovation works, carried out in compliance with health and epidemiological norms, in 11 educational institutions benefiting from investments, 4 finished institutions, 1 institution - at the stage of evaluating the tender results and 1 institution - in the process of preparing the estimate. By the beginning of the new school year, the renovation process in 8 constituency schools will be completed.
