Today, June 24, 2020, the team of the Public Institution "Moldova Social Investment Fund" (PI MSIF) participated in the online meeting with the Mayor General of Chisinau municipality, Mr. Ion Ceban, and the Deputy Mayor, Mrs. Angela Cutasevici.

The discussion was focused on the results obtained by PI MSIF in the implementation of infrastructure subprojects in Chisinau. “During its activity, the Fund implemented about 150 subprojects in the city and in the suburbs of the municipality. The typology of the implemented subprojects is very wide. We are talking about the renovation and equipping of schools, kindergartens, community centers for children, construction of water supply and sewerage systems, reconstruction of roads, arrangement of pedestrian access roads, " the Director of PI MSIF, Iurie Chiorescu, said.

In his turn, the Mayor of the capital mentioned that in the municipality there are many facilities of social infrastructure, which need of financial sources for renovation. Combining efforts of the City Hall and the Investment Fund would provide sustainable prospects for collaboration in order to attract investments offered by external donors.

At the end of the discussion, a collaboration was proposed on mapping needs of social infrastructure rehabilitation in order to develop project proposals.
