The institution was renovated within the Technical and Financial Assistance Program provided by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova (GD no. 28/2019) and managed by the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund”.
The inauguration event was attended by His Excellency, Mr. Petrisor Dumitrescu, Consul General of Romania in Balți, Mr. Grigore Corcodel, the Chairman of Singerei rayon, Mrs. Isac Oxana, the Head of the Community Development and Program Management of the PI MSIF, Mr. Arcadie Covaliov, the Mayor of Singerei town, Mr. Andrei Cucos, Vice-mayor of Singerei town, representatives of the Diocese of Balți, the Metropolitan Church of Bessarabia, the Romanian Patriarchate and teachers. They all mentioned in their messages the considerable impact of this Project for the entire community.
The most important beneficiaries of the subproject also had a word of congratulations - the children from the kindergarten, who delighted the honorable help with poetry reading, songs and very good mood. The event ended with the CHORA OF THE ROMANIAN PEOPLE.
The implementation of this Project contributed to the creation of better conditions for early education of 7 groups of children attended by about 150 preschool children and, 30 teachers and support staff were working at the kindergarten.
The roof of the kindergarten has been built, the thermal insulation works of the facade, plating of the socle, arrangement of the territory and other repairs have been carried out for money from the budget of the subproject in the amount of about 1,600,000 lei.
The works have been executed by the ROSIVID CONSTRUCT SRL company in the period from 11.09.2020 through 10.03.2021.
General information about the Program:
The list of subprojects was approved for financing of preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova based on the ORDER no. 913 of April 10, 2014, issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, on the publication of the Cooperation Program for 2014, concluded by exchange of letters, signed in Bucharest and Chisinau on April 9, 2014, on the basis of the Article 1 paragraph 2 of the Agreement between the Government Romania and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, regarding the implementation of the technical and financial assistance Program, based on a non-reimbursable financial aid amounting to 100 million euros, granted by Romania to the Republic of Moldova, signed in Bucharest on April 27, 2010.
The PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund" (MSIF) is designated as the entity responsible for preparation, implementation, ensuring the visibility and reporting on the Technical and Financial Assistance Program provided by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova by the Government Decision no. 436 of 10.06.2014 on the implementation of the Technical and Financial Assistance Program provided by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova.
Tranches of the Program in the period 2014 - 2019:
2014 - 20 million Euros (GD no. 436/2014);
2015 - 3 million Euros allocated onthe basis of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova of 14.11.2014 within framework of the "Increasing children's access and participation in early education in the Republic of Moldova" Project;
2017 - 3 million Euros (GD no. 133/2017)
2019 - 3 million Euros (GD no. 28/2019).
A total of 29 million Euros were allocated by the Romanian Government. Over 1000 kindergartens in our country have been renovated and equipped with different categories of equipment and goods for these funds.
