Inauguration of the kindergarten in Hansca village, renovated for funds from the grant provided by the Romanian Government

Today, on July 11, 2018, the kindergarten in Hansca village, Ialoveni rayon, was inaugurated, after the institution has been rehabilitated within the Program of technical and financial assistance granted by the Government of Romania to the pre-school institutions of the Republic of Moldova, administered by the Moldova Social Investment Fund.

The event was attended by the Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc, the Romanian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Daniel Ioniţă, MSIF Deputy Director, Liuba Cuzneţov, representatives of local and central authorities, parents and children.
In her address, Minister Monica Babuc thanked the Romanian Government for its constant and substantial support to the Republic of Moldova in renovating and equipping kindergartens, as well as the local community for their receptivity and responsibility. "I am pleased to note that you are involved in the process of creating favorable conditions for the education of these wonderful children. I am firmly convinced that only acting together, we can contribute to their physical, emotional, cognitive and social development, indispensable factors for the formation of future active citizens," the official emphasized.

The Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Moldova, Daniel Ioniţă, said that the Renovation Program of pre-school institutions in the Republic of Moldova was the successful one, that is why the Romanian Government decided to allocate another three million euros for this scope. "Central authorities, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, local authorities, parents and, of course, the MSIF, without support of which it would not have been possible to have today’s inauguration, have contributed to this success. This is why the Government of Romania has recently decided to continue the renovation Program for pre-school institutions and will allocate another three million euros. We are in talks with central and local authorities to identify the localities where to invest," Daniel Ioniţă said.

The Hansca village in Ialoveni rayon has 1280 inhabitants. There was no kindergarten in the village last 30 years. Early childhood children were going to kindergartens in Costesti and Ialoveni, and some of them had to stay at home. Three years ago, local authorities decided to change the destination of one of gymnasium blocks from the locality for the kindergarten.

The Kindergarten in Hansca village benefited from works in the amount of 4,169,415 lei, 3,480,311 lei of which were allocatedfrom the Romanian grant, and the contribution of the settlement was in the amount of 689,104 lei.

Roof capital repair works have been carried out, new doors and windows have been installed, internal and external repair works have been carried out, the heating and the ventilation systems, as well as the water and sewerage systems have been repaired at the kindergarten. At the same time , the kitchen of the institution has been arranged and equipped.

Within the framework of the same program, a boiler house has been also built, which provides heating for both, the gymnasium and the kindergarten. Before, authorities used to spend 200,000 lei for heating the gymnasium building during the cold season. Thanks to the boiler house, built under the Technical and Financial Assistance Program, granted by the Government of Romania to preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova, this year the heating bill was only 50 thousand lei.

Currently, the kindergarten in Hansca village has two groups, and it is attended by 70 children. In total, there are 128 pre-school age children in the locality. Soon another group will be arranged in the kindergarten in Hansca village.
