Today, July 15, 2021, took place the final commissioning of the "Civil works at the Kindergarten no. 1" subproject in Siscani village, Nisporeni rayon, renovated within the Technical and Financial Assistance Program granted by the Romanian Government for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova (GD no. 28/2019) through the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund.

The final commissioning was attended by members of the Commission, representatives of the local public administration, the Subproject Implementation Agency, the construction company and the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund”.

The implementation of this subproject contributed to the creation of better conditions for early education of 3 groups of children attended by about 60 preschool children and served by 20 teachers and support staff of the kindergarten.

The exterior repairs (plastering, thermal insulation and plating of the socle), arrangement of the adjacent territory (earthworks, paving works) have been carried out within the subproject. The total cost of the executed civil works is 373,468 lei, 260 thousand of which are allocated from the grant of the Romanian Government. The difference in the amount of 113,468 lei was provided by the Local public administration.

General information about the Program:

The list of subprojects at preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova was approved for financing based on the ORDER no. 913 of April 10, 2014, issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, on the publication of the Cooperation Program for 2014, concluded by the exchange of letters, signed in Bucharest and Chisinau on April 9, 2014, based on Article 1 paragraph 2 of the Agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, regarding the implementation of the Technical and Financial Assistance Pprogram based on the non-reimbursable financial aid amounting to 100 million euros granted by Romania to the Republic of Moldova and signed in Bucharest on April 27, 2010.

The PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund" (MSIF) is designated as the entity responsible for preparing, implementation , ensuring the transparency and reporting of the Technical and Financial Assistance Program provided by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova by the Government Decision no. 436 of 10.06.2014 on the implementation of the Technical and Financial Assistance Program provided by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova.

Tranches of the Program within the period 2014 - 2019:

2014 - 20 million Euro (GD no. 436/2014) 

2015 - 3 million Euros allocated based on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova of 14.11.2014 within the "Increasing children's access and participation in early education in the Republic of Moldova" Project

2017 - 3 million Euro (GD no. 133/2017)

2019 - 3 million Euros (GD no. 28/2019)

A total of 29 million Euros were allocated by the Romanian Government. over 1000 kindergartens in our country have been renovated and equipped with different categories of goods for these money.
