
The "Social Infrastructure and Energy Efficiency" Program for 2018, funded by the German Development Bank KfW and implemented by the Moldova Social Investment Fund, was launched on March 16, 2018, as part of a public event.
In total, between 23.03.18and 02.05.18, MSIF received 161 Application Forms, submitted by 145 rural localities and 16 towns.
On May 29, 2018, at the MSIF headquarters took place the meeting of the Evaluation Committee for evaluation of applications submitted in the first stage of the Project. The committee was made up of representatives of the German Development Bank KfW, the German Embassy in Moldova and representatives of MSIF.
The committee members examined the applications submitted in accordance with the previously announced eligibility criteria.
As a result of the evaluation of the Application Forms and of complete sets of documents, as well as the confirmative documents, it was found that the files submitted by 121 rural localities and 14 cities correspond to the eligibility criteria. Thus, they were admitted to the second stage of the project.
Some of the localities did not meet the conditions previously announced and were disqualified by the members of the Evaluation Committee. The list of communities that have been disqualified because of their incompliance with the terms of the contest can be found here.
MSIF announces the launch of the second stage of the contest, which will be held in terms of the following rule - "The first come and first served", starting with June 08, 2018, AM09.00. Participation conditions for the second stage can be found here.
