Today, July 20, 2020, during the mission of the German Development Bank "Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau" (KfW) in Moldova, which takes place from July 20 through 24, 2020, an online meeting of the "Social Infrastructure and Efficiency" Program, Phase II, within the German Financial Cooperation with the Republic of Moldova financed by the German Development Bank “Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau” (KfW) and implemented with the technical assistance of the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund” took place.

The meeting was attended by: Mr. Michael Pucher, the Chief Technical Expert, Urban and Regional Development, Eastern Europe – Caucasus - Central Asia, KfW, Mr. Sergiu Guțu, local representative of KfW Moldova, Mr. Iurie Chiorescu, the Director of the PI MSIF, Mr. Sergiu Niculita, Deputy-director of the  PI MSIF and section chiefs of the PI MSIF.

Discussions were focused on different aspects related to the achievements obtained in the implementation of subprojects, taking into account particularities of different types of subprojects, and also short-term work perspectives.

Within the German Financial Cooperation with the Republic of Moldova, the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund” within the period 2005 - 2019 managed implementation of 235 infrastructure subprojects worth 11.65 million Euros provided to the Republic of Moldova by the Ministry of Development and Economic Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany through the Development Bank "Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau" (KfW).
