“Ștefan Holban” Theoretical Lyceum in Carpineni village, Hincești rayon is one of 17 general schools that benefited from investments for renovation within the “Moldova Education Reform” Project financed by the World Bank and managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research through the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund” (PI MSIF).

Today, on July 9, 2020, the PI MSIF team carried out a monitoring visit, during which it was found that the contractor complies with the schedule of works, currently executed for 90.6% of the volume of works contracted, operating in a special routine in the context of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

The budget of the subproject includes civil works on capital repair of teaching sections A and C: replacement of carpentry articles (exterior and interior doors, windows), interior repair works (walls, ceilings, floors), exterior repair works (fixed access ramp, handrails, load beam, the roof of section B), ventilation and heating systems, indoor and outdoor water supply and sewerage networks. electricity supply networks, fire alarm system, wastewater treatment plant (foundation, walls, technological equipment), landscaping (pavement, curb, fixed access ramp, handrails).

The cost of the contract is 10 423 601,08 lei.

The PI MSIF monitors the development of renovation works carried out in compliance with health and epidemiological requirements in 11 educational institutions benefiting from investments, 4 institutions have been commissioned, 1 institution is at the stage of bids evaluation and 1 institution - at the tender stage. By the beginning of a new schoolyear, the renovation process will be completed in 8 district schools.
