Iurie Chiorescu was appointed the position of the new Director of the State Institution "Moldova Social Investment Fund" following results of the contest for filling the vacant civil service position. Today, Iurie Chiorescu was presented to the team by the Secretary-General of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, Lilia Palii.

Iurie Chiorescu is the Master of Political Science.

Previously, he was Deputy to the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, being member of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration. Iurie Chiorescu has co-authored over 45 legislative initiatives.

We remind that at the beginning of February 2019, the State Chancellery launched a contest for the selection of the Director of the Moldova Social Investment Fund (MSIF), after the four-year term of former MSIF Executive Director, Mircea Esanu, expired.

Five people were admitted to the contest. On March 21, 2019, the Selection Board of the Director of the State Institution " Moldova Social Investment Fund" issued a decision on the appointment of Mr. Iurie Chiorescu as the winner of the contest for the position of the director. On March 28, 2019, by the Order of the State Chancellery, Iurie Chiorescu was appointed Director of the State Institution " Moldova Social Investment Fund".
