A new study section will be built at the "Mihai Eminescu" Lyceum in Comrat. This will increase the number of young people in the region, who want to study in state language. The estimated cost of civil works, which will start this year, is 20 million lei. Financing will be provided by the Social Investment Fund.
In the new study section of "Mihai Eminescu" Lyceum from Comrat there will be rooms for computer science, biology, chemistry, sports hall and ceremony hall.
Until the new section is put into use, the study process runs in adapted rooms. They were arranged in the corridor, the physical education takes place in a small room.
And the library was arranged in a tight cabinet.
In Gagauzia there are only two educational institutions with teaching in state language, so the extension of capacities of the "Mihai Eminescu" Lyceum is an anticipated project in autonomy, mentioned the bascan, Irina Vlah.
Initially, was planned that Mihai Eminescu Lyceum will attended by 200 pupils, but gradually their number reached 475.

The PI " Moldova Social Investment Fund" comes with some rectifications:
a) The reportage on the Lyceum "Mihai Eminescu" from Comrat municipality was developed and broadcasted by the NTV Moldova TV channel without consulting with PI MSIF;
b) The financial support for the construction of the new study section at Theoretical Lyceum "Mihai Eminescu" from Comrat municipality in the amount of 773 932 Euro is provided by the Government of Romania based on the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Romania on the implementation of the Technical and Financial Assistance Program based on a non-reimbursable financial aid of 100 million euros, granted by Romania to the Republic of Moldova, signed in Bucharest, on April 27, 2010;
c) Up to date, 1172 kindergartens are being renovated or are in the process of renovation for four tranches of financing totaling 29 million Euros granted by the Government of Romania, based on the abovementioned Agreement;
d) PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund" is designated as the entity responsible for the preparation, implementation, ensuring visibility of the entire process of implementation of the project "Construction of the new study section at TL "Mihai Eminescu" from Comrat municipality.
