The Ambassador of Romania, Marius Lazurca, and the Executive Manager of the Moldova Social Investment Fund (MSIF), Mircea Eşanu, participated today in the inauguration of the kindergarten in the Vînători village, Nisporeni rayon. 1.5 million lei have been allocated for the reconstruction of the institution, within the frame of the "Program of Technical and Financial Assistance granted by the Romanian Government for the renovation of preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova".

Previously, the building belonged to the nearby gymnasium, but because of the reduced number of students, it was rebuilt to open a kindergarten in it. The kindergarten in the Vînători village is attended by 55 children, and the institution provides jobs for 12 villagers.

The 55 children, who come today in this modern kindergarten, and also their parents, benefit directly from the support of the Romanian Government. The fact that it worked so good at the kindergarten from the Vînători village encourages us to continue this project. We hope that soon by the voice of the Prime Minister of Romania, we will be able to announce a new funding for modernizing and equipping of kindergartens in the Republic of Moldova. "

"In the kindergarten of the Vînători village two children groups have been opened, while across the whole country, according to estimates, about 200 new children groups have been opened. By means of the project implemented by MSIF with the support of the Romanian Government, about 5,000 new places for pre-school education have been created," Mircea Eşanu, the Executive Manager of the Moldova Social Investment Fund, said.

The total cost of the project is 3 million lei, 1.5 million lei of which has been allocated from the grant, provided by the Romanian Government, the remainder being allocated from the state budget, the local budget and from the Nisporeni Rayon Council budget.

At the kindergarten from Vânători village the roof has been replaced, the interior walls, the ceiling and the floor have been renovated for the Romanian grant. In the yard of the kindergarten the pavement has been mounted and exterior walls of the building have been thermally insulated. Also a powerful heating system has been installed and the water supply and sewerage systems have been constructed in kindergarten. Thus, the kindergarten has become the only institution in the village which has toilets inside the building
