On October 27, 2020, the inauguration of lyceum building section for primary school pupils took place at the "M. Eminescu" Theoretical Lyceum in Cimislia town, renovated within the "Moldova Education Reform" Project financed by the World Bank and managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research through the Public Institution “Moldova Social Investment Fund”.

The event was attended by the management of Cimișlia rayon, led by the Chairman of the rayon, Mr. Mihai Olarescu, the Director of the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund”, Mr. Iurie Chiorescu, the Mayor of Cimișlia town, Mr. Sergiu Andronachi, Interim Head of the Cimișlia General Education Directorate, Mrs. Garaba Gabriela, the Director of “Mihai Eminescu” TL in Cimişlia town, Mrs. Comerzan Tatiana, teachers, pupils and parents.

The implementation of this project contributed to creation of European level conditions for the development of the instructive-educational process of 370 students and 16 teachers of the lyceum.

The following works have been carried out at the lyceum for money from project budget in the amount of over 12 million lei: the roof of the section was rebuilt, the carpentry items were replaced, interior works (on walls, ceilings, floors) and exterior works (facade, window sills, supporting wall, socle) were executed, the heating and ventilation systems were renovated, water and sewerage networks and electrical networks and electrical equipment were replaced, security and communications system was installed, landscaping works were carried out.

In total, 17 district educational institutions will be renovated within the Component A.2 of the "Moldova Education Reform" Project financed by the World Bank and managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research through the PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund". At the moment, 10 projects of the total number have passed the commissioning and 7 are undergoing the renovation process.
