
Today, May 27, 2020, at the headquarters of the Public Institution "Moldova Social Investment Fund" in the presence of designated representatives of bidders and members of the Evaluation Committee the public bids opening meeting on the subproject "Civil Works at Theoretical lyceum "Ion Pelivan" in Razeni community, Ialoveni rayon took place. The meeting was attended by Mr. Anatolie Topală, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, and Mrs. Natalia Răilean, the Director of TL "Ion Pelivan" in Răzeni community. Following the evaluation of submitted tenders, the Evaluation Committee will designate the construction company that will carry out civil works on the mentioned subproject.
The following works will be carried out within the subproject:
- replacement of the heating system throughout the institution;
- renovation of the ventilation system in laboratories and bathroom units in section A;
- renovation of the internal water and sewerage networks throughout the institution;
- construction of the water treatment plant;
- renovation of elctrical networks and electrical equipment in sections B and C;
- installation of the fire and burglar alarm systems;
- repair of bathroom units in sections A, B and C;
- interior repair in sections B and C (floors, walls and ceilings).
The subproject "Civil works at the Theoretical Lyceum "Ion Pelivan"" in Razeni community, Ialoveni rayon is financed based on the Law no. 129 of July 7, 2017 on the ratification of Amendment No. 2 to the Financing Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the International Development Association (World Bank) within the "Moldova Education Reform Project", managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and implemented by PI "Moldovan Social Investment Fund”.
In total, within the A.2 component of the "Moldova Education Reform Project" financed by the World Bank and managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, through the PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund" 17 general educational institutions will be renovated, and the investment for each lyceum will amount to 700 thousand US dollars. At the moment, out of the total number of subprojects in 4 institutions civil works are finalized, in 11 – in the process of implementation, 1 institution – at the tender stage and 1 institution - in the process of elaboration of the technical design. By the beginning of the new shoolyear, the renovation process in six general schools will be completed.
