--------- In the Raspopeni community of the Soldanesti rayon, the nursery-kindergarten was reopened today after it was renovated with the help of donations received from Romania in the amount of 500 thousand lei. So far, over one thousand one hundred kindergartens in the Republic of Moldova have been renovated with the support of the Romanian state, which has contributed more than 29 million euros. The event was attended by the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Moldova, Daniel Ionita, local public authorities, parents and children.
The kindergarten-nursery in Raspopeni community, Soldanesti rayon, has been renovated within the Technical and Financial Assistance Program provided by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova. The project was implemented through the Moldova Social Investment Fund, an institution created with the support of the World Bank and donor countries in order to contribute to the development of the Republic of Moldova by managing external assistance. At the commissioning of civil works, the Mayor of the locality, Nicolae Gonța, thanked the Romanian Government for the help provided.
We benefited from half a million lei. And as a result of these, we implemented the subproject, in turn, the city hall paid for design works, so we have been already prepared. The solicitor must have a database, have certain documents in order to implement a project. Because at submitting the package of documents design works must be finalized, expertize has to be passed and all the verifications have to be done. Thus, we were selected by the Investment Fund; we thank them for their assistance. And, here we are in 2021, at the inauguration and commissioning of civil works executed with the support of the Romanian Government, for which we thank them very so much.
The inplementation of this Subroject contributed to the creation of better conditions of early education for 3 groups of children attended by 60 preschool children, as well as for teachers and auxiliary staff in kindergarten. This project was developed for the benefit of locals and citizens of the Republic of Moldova for the purpose of educating children, who are the future of a nation, the Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau, Daniel Ionita, said.
This kindergarten is one of the over 1100 kindergartens that has been renovated and rebuilt in the Republic of Moldova with the important financial support from the Romanian Government. It is significant that, one can see, political regimes may come and go, but such goals remain. And they remain in place for the benefit of citizens, for the benefit of inhabitants of the Republic of Moldova with a scope of educating children; children are the most valuable resource of a nation, and education is essential, because only through education you can polish this valuable resource for the good of the country.
So far, over one thousand one hundred kindergartens have benefited from aid received from the Romanian Government, which has allocated over 29 million euros for this purpose.
