Aimed at monitoring the implementation schedule of the subproject, on July 7, 2020, the team of the Public Institution "Moldova Social Investment Fund" together with the Chairman of Cimișlia rayon, Mihai Olărescu, paid a visit to the construction site of the "M. Eminescu" Theoretical Lyceum in Cimișlia town, during which it was found that the Contractor executed 94.31% of the total volume of works, activating in a special routine in the context of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

During the construction site inspection, several aspects were discussed, such as the works execution time schedule, the quality and the volume of work currently carried out, safety techniques and site organization.

The project budget includesfollowingworks: roof reconstruction, replacement of carpentry items, interior repairs (walls, ceilings, floors), exterior repairs (facade, window sills, supporting walls, socle), construction of heating and ventilation systems, water supply and sewerage, networks, installation of electrical equipment, security and communications systems, landscaping works.

The cost of civil works is 10,249,830, 88 lei.

The sub-project is financed based on Law no. 129 of July 7, 2017 on the ratification of Amendment no. 2 to the Financing Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the International Development Association (World Bank) within the "Moldova Education Reform" Project, managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and implemented by the PI "Moldova Social Investments Fund”.

PI MSIF monitors the development of renovation works, carried out in compliance with health and epidemiological norms, in 11 educational institutions benefiting from investments: civil works have been commissioned in 4 institutions, 1 institution is at the stage of bids evaluation and 1 institution is at the tender stage. The renovation process will be completed in 8 district schools by the beginning of a new schoolyear.
