"Vasile Coroban" Theoretical Lyceum in Glodeni town is one of the 17 constituency schools that benefit from investments for renovation of its premises within the "Moldova Education Reform Project" funded by the World Bank and managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, and financed through the PI " Moldova Social Investment Fund of " (PI MSIF).
Today, June 26, 2020, the Director of PI MSIF, Mr. Iurie Chiorescu, together with the Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Mr. Igor Sharov, was on a working visit to the "Vasile Coroban" Theoretical Lyceum in Glodeni town Discussions were attended by the Deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Ion Leucă, Vice-Chairman of Glodeni rayont, Mrs. Oxana Albu, head of Glodeni EYSD, Mr. Tudor Casautan.
Among other issues addressed, discussions were focused on needs in the field of education and culture and opportunities to solve existing problems.
PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund" monitored the execution of renovation works at the "Vasile Coroban" Theoretical Lyceum, carried aut by the FPC AGENTINTER S.R.L company in the period 2018-2019. At the moment works are finished.
Among the basic works executed within the project in the two sections A and B are: construction of the roof, replacement of carpentry, interior and exterior works in sections A and B, replacement of the heating system, replacement of internal water supply and sewerage networks, reconstruction of the ventilation system, replacement of electrical networks. The renovation works performed contributed to the creation of improved study conditions for schoolchildren and teachers, essentially increasing the quality of the instructional-teaching process.
The total cost of the executed civil works is 11 866 988, 26 lei.
Currently, PI MSIF monitors the development of renovation works carried out in compliance with health and epidemiological norms in 11 educational institutions, which benefited from investments, in 4 institutions, where civil works have been completed, in 1 institution - at the stage of evaluation of the tender results and in 1 institution - in the process of preparing the estimate. By the beginning of a new schoolyear, the renovation process in 8 constituency schools will be completed.
