On Monday, June 21, 2021, within the online-seminar organized by IP “Social Investment Fund of Moldova”, 17 new subprojects for renovation/construction of bathroom units in primary, secondary and high school education institutions worth 4.8 million lei have been launched These subprojects will be financed from the State Budget and managed by the PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund".

The selection of beneficiaries was carried out based on the Regulation on the organization of the procedure for implementing the projects of renovation / construction of sanitary blocks in general education institutions approved by GD no. 453 of 01.07.2020 (OJ no. 165-176, 2020). The list of beneficiaries was approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Researches no. 718  of 16.06.2021 Regarding the approval of the List of general education institutions potential beneficiaries of investments for the improvement of hygiene and sanitation conditions (MSIF 2021 subprojects).

The information session aimed at familiarizing beneficiaries with the objectives and implementation strategy of the Project, subprojects promoting methods at the local level, procurement procedures, funding mechanisms, these being basic topics included in the agenda.

In order to streamline the process of informing the participants in the event, for representatives of the Local Public Administration and of the educational institutions, information support materials were elaborated and disseminated: the Grant Form and the Investment Beneficiary’s Guide.

Until June 29, 2021, beneficiaries of the subprojects will submit to the PI MSIF the completed Grant Application Form.
