PUPILS AND TEACHERS AT THE "PETRU RAREȘ" THEORETICAL LYCEUM IN SOROCA MUNICIPALITYWILL ENJOY QUALITY CONDITIONS IN THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR

 

The team of the Public Institution "Moldova Social Investment Fund" participated in the commissioning of civil works within the "Civil works at the Theoretical Lyceum "Petru Rareș" Subproject in Soroca municipality financed by the World Bank within Component A.2 of the "Moldova Education Reform" Project, managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Researches and implemented with the technical assistance of the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund”.

 

The event was attended by the members of the commissioning team, representatives of the Soroca Rayon Council, the Implementation Agency representatives, the construction company officers and representatives of the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund”.

 

The implementation of this project contributed to the creation of better study conditions for about 1,000 pupils and for 74 teachers and auxiliary staff in the lyceum.

 

The following civil works have been carried out for money from the Subproject budget in the amount of over 14 million lei: construction of the roof, replecement of carpentry, thermal insulation of the facade, interior and exterior repairs, replacement of internal water supply and sewerage networks, replacement of interior wiring and electrical equipment, replacement of the ventilation system, burglar alarm and fire alarm systems, replacement of the low voltage networks.

 

The works were executed by the FPC "Agentinter" S.R.L. company

 

Contract period: 31/01/2020 - 31/08/2021

 

Note: 

 

The “Moldova Education Reform” Project is a specific investment loan granted by the World Bank, implemented between April 2013 and April 2022, which supports the Government of the Republic of Moldova by financing activities that will strengthen the quality of education and lead to a more efficient education sector

 

In total, 17 general educational institutions will be renovated within the Component A.2 of the "Moldova Education Reform" Project financed by the World Bank and managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, through the PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund". Currently, the PI MSIF monitors the development of renovation works performed in 5 educational institutions benefiting from investments, and which will be commissioned before the beginning of the new school year.

6. The “M. Eminescu” TL in Anenii Noi town;

 

7. The “M. Eminescu” TL in Straseni town;

 

8. The “A. Agapie” TL in Pepeni village, Singerei rayon;

 

9. The “A. Doljnenco” TL in Vulcanesti town;

 

10. The “A. Vartic” TL in Ialoveni town;

 

11. The "P. Rares" TL in Soroca town;

 

12. The “S. Holban” TL in Carpineni village, Hincesti rayon;

 

13. The “V. Alecsandri ” TL in Colibas village, Cahul rayon;

 

14. The "Stefan Voda" TL in. Stefan-Voda town;

 

15. The "Alexandru cel Bun" TL in Rezina town;

 

16. The "Ion Pelivan" TL in Razeni village, Ialoveni rayon;
