On Monday, September 6, 2021, the team of the Public Institution "Moldova Social Investment Fund" participated in the commissioning of the subproject "Improving hygiene and sanitation facilities at Corjeuti Theoretical lyceum" financed from State budget and managed by PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund” in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Researches.
The commissioning was attended by: members of the commissioning team, Mr. Vitalii Lupascu, the Chairman of Briceni Rayon Council, Mr. Stirbu Vitalie, the Head of the Education, Youth and Sports Department of the Briceni rayon, representatives of the local public administration, members of the Subproject Implementation Agency, representatives of the construction company and the PI “Moldova Social Investment Fund”.
The implementation of this subproject contributed to the creation of better sanitation conditions for about 400 pupils and 47 teachers, and auxiliary staff at the lyceum.
250 thousand lei were allocated from the State budget for the implementation of this subproject. The local public administration contributed 18 thousand lei. Within the framework of the subproject, the following works were carried out on the renovation of bathroom units: finishing of ceilings and walls, installation of PVC partitions, floor cladding, installation of doors, installation of a water supply network and internal sewerage, installation of the ventilation and heating system, electrical wiring and electrical equipment, construction of the external sewerage system and construction of a warehouse premises.

IP FISM has been designated as the entity responsible for evaluating and initiating the development of the renovation/construction/equipping of educational institutions benefiting from projects financed from sources allocated under the State Budget Law for 2021 no. 258/2020 by the Government Decision no. 453/2020 (Monitorul Oficial no. 165-176, 2020) on the approval of the Regulation on the procedure organization for the implementation of projects on renovation/construction of bathroom units in primary, secondary and high school institutions,.
The List of general education institutions potential beneficiaries of investments for the improvement of hygiene and sanitation conditions has been approved (MSIF 2020 projects) by the Order of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Researches of the Republic of Moldova no. 718 of 14.06.2021.
The PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund" currently manages 17 subprojects on the renovation/construction of bathroom units in primary, secondary and high school institutions worth 4.8 million lei financed from State budget.
